2027 Kia Telluride Will Finally Debut Its Redesign Next Month
The new three-row SUV will likely introduce a hybrid model and is expected to share specs with the recently redesigned Hyundai Palisade.

Kia announced that the new 2027 Telluride will debut on November 20.
We expect the new-generation three-row SUV to introduce a hybrid version.
Our illustration above shows what we think the new Telluride will look like.
Ever since the new Hyundai Palisade debuted for 2026, we’ve been waiting to see the new generation of the closely related Kia Telluride. We now know that the 2027 Telluride is coming soon, as it will debut at the Los Angeles auto show on November 20. This will be the second generation of this three-row SUV, which has won multiple Car and Driver 10Best awards since it first debuted for 2020.
Because the Telluride and Palisade share a platform and powertrains, we have a good idea what to expect from the new model. A new hybrid version will be the big news, and it will likely share its 329-hp turbocharged gas-electric setup with the Palisade Hybrid. The standard engine will likely be a 3.5-liter V-6; front- and all-wheel drive should both be offered. We also expect that Kia will lean further into the Telluride’s off-road ability with X-Pro variants that will offer all-terrain tires and other upgrades.
Otherwise, the new Telluride will introduce new styling, as illustrated in our rendering above. We’ve also spied prototypes of the new model that indicate it will continue with its blocky shape. Kia released a brief teaser video showing the new model’s headlights, but you can’t make out much. The interior will incorporate a more modern and upscale look and should offer a bit more space than before as the new model grows in size.

Kia confirmed to us that the Telluride will skip the 2026 model year. In the meantime, 2025 Tellurides are still on sale. Look for more information to come soon on the 2027 Telluride as we approach its impending debut.
